About Us

Shulamit Jewelry is a small business owned and operated by Corinna Shulamit Dooley tucked in the rolling hills of Vermont. Corinna is a woman of many pasts. She was born in Israel on a Kibbutz and before the age of 2 moved back to her parents’ country of origin, the United States. Both of her parents are artists and immersed her childhood years in the craft scene. The home base of her younger years was in the back woods of Maine where the only modern technology were kerosene lamps and later the propane stove. At age 8, life took a complete turnaround and  Corinna moved to Queens, New York where she spent much of the next 18 years, except for a  few of lengthy stays in Israel.

She was an art major in high school and a theater major at Queens College. It is through her experience of diverse cultures and lifestyles that Corinna has harvested her unique style. Being born into an artisan family has resulted in a quality of craftsmanship rarely found. The care and devotion in each piece is well received by those who wear her art.
